Description:

Parabank Azerbaijan is one of the oldest banks. The Bank was established as commercial bank in 1991 and transferred into a joint stock commercial bank in 1993. Parabank is one of the leading and stable banks in Azerbaijan. Within the whole term of activities carefully observed the account forms of the National Bank of Azerbaijan, and the relevant normative requirements on the capital adequacy. Parabank won the people's confidence and is in constant search of new bank products. The regional bank program is working effectively. This year a new Guba Branch will join the list of the bank branches in the regions, namely in Sumgait, Ganja, and Beylagan.

A number of innovations such as automation of the working systems, improvement of the logistics and renovation of the means of information and technology were achieved at Parabank. Collaboration with German-Azerbaijani Fund, the largest international partner of Parabank, has increase since 2004. The Bank fulfilled all o sots obligations within the framework agreement concluded with its partner. In 2004 Parabank established business relations with a number of international financial institutes with the aim to strengthen its international relations. The relations with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Asian Development Bank, and International Finance Corporation can be an example for the aforesaid. Parabank aims at the retail banking development path maintaining its universality character.
