Calyon accompanies its clients from its global locations. More than 13,000 employees are located in 58 countries in Americas, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia and Pacific. Calyon specialises in the businesses of capital markets and investment and corporate banking.

COVERAGE AND INVESTMENT BANKING
The commercial organisation is in two parts : geographical coverage for multi-business clients and sector coverage to share know-how acquired in the bank's various divisions with clients in specialised business sectors. Two units, French regional division and Foreign delegations division, serve Crédit Agricole Group's middle-market clients, respectively in France and in the rest of the world.

Advisory services and equity financing performed by Coverage and Investment Banking are as follows: mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets, corporate equity derivatives and loan syndication. A dedicated team meets clients' specific requirements in the area of Islamic finance.

FIXED INCOME MARKETS
Calyon Fixed Income division provides its clients with the right solution addressing their specific needs. It is comprised of five product lines (commodities, debt and credit markets, foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives and treasury) and one commercial division. These trading and sales entities are supported by dedicated research departments.

THE EQUATOR PRINCIPLES IN PROJECT FINANCE
The Equator Principles in project financeWhen the Equator Principles were launched in 2003, Calyon became the first French bank to sign them. In a few short years, the Principles have become the benchmark for responsibility in project finance. This commitment to comply with certain social and environmental requirements is a crucial element of Crédit Agricole Group's corporate responsibility policy. It involves Calyon's project finance teams on a day-to-day basis, and gives an active role in the decision process to a variety of actors.
