Česká spořitelna (CS) was founded as a savings bank some 180 years ago. ollowing the acquisition by Erste Group in 1999/2000 it quickly transformed into the country’s leading universal bank, serving mainly retail clients, small and medium-sized companies and municipalities; it also plays a key role in financing large corporates and is a major participant in the local capital market.
