Meinl Bank AG is one of Austria’s biggest and most important private banks. In January 2006 it decided to use the Valordata Feed (VDF) for managing and updating its securities reference data. In addition to efficient automation functions, VDF offers Meinl Bank AG a number of other benefits in terms of data depth and scope. Thanks to a comprehensive data concept, for example, Telekurs Financial has been able to supply the additional data needed in accordance with the EU-Austria tax treaty via VDF. Moreover, from 2007 Telekurs Financial is including MiFIDcompliant financial information in its global product range.

Meinl Bank AG, together with its subsidiaries, provides a range of banking products and services primarily in Austria. The bank engages in a range of corporate and investment banking activities, including corporate finance and investment banking/advisory services; equity capital markets; merchant banking; debt capital markets, such as trade and export financing, trade in illiquid debts, trustee business, and acquisition and structuring of merger and acquisition transactions; and trustee business. It also provides various institutional asset management products and services that include fixed income sales trading; structured products, such as covering fixed income, equity, currency, volatility, and spreads or combinations; retail oriented structures; liquid bonds; and individual asset allocation for institutional investors. In addition, the bank offers a range of private asset management services that comprise asset advice, asset management, and special funds; estate planning and retirement planning; management of private foundations; selling of companies; and real estate and alternative investments. Its fund products primarily include bond funds, mixed funds, and equity funds. Further, the bank invests in, as well as leases real estate properties that primarily include offices, business premises, industrial buildings, and flats. As of December 31, 2006, its real estate portfolio included 28 properties. Meinl Bank also has operations in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Bermuda, Jersey, and Antigua. The bank was founded in 1923 and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria.
